Kauai Junior Lifeguard Program

This free program is open to all Kaua’i Keiki ages 8-11 and Juniors 12-17. The program demonstrates Ocean Safety awareness and valuable lifesaving skills taught by Kaua’i’s finest Ocean Safety Instructors. During this week long program our Keiki will gain the following skills;

  • Hands on learning
  • Lifesaving and rescue skills
  • Hands only CPR and first aid
  • Team work and problem solving
  • Beach hazards and ocean safety awareness

The Mark Schulein Passion Project supports KJL and the work they are doing in the community.
